On April 10, 2019, Albion Online became entirely free to download and play. Then, on May 16, 2018, Albion Online launched on Steam, bringing thousands of new players into the greater Albion community. These brought major new features like fishing, open-world mobs, Faction Warfare, crafting bonuses, the Crystal Realm, and more.
